All About Mike Finney

From my small studio near Lincoln, I work mainly in oils, acrylics and relief printing. My wide ranging subject matter is drawn from observation, atmosphere and personal experience. I've been interested in drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I studied creative design at Loughborough in the early 1970's where I specialised in visual studies, silversmithing and ceramics. Having spent 35 years working in education, writing, teaching art, craft, design and technology and more recently, computer aided design, I have now decided to devote more time to developing my own work. Most of my work is available as high quality, limited edition giclee prints and I am very happy to undertake commissions. Please contact me for further details.
